Role/Description
The Barnsley Central Investment Plan (BCIP) contains the key projects which have been identified by the One Barnsley Strategic Partnership as essential for delivering the activity needed in Barnsley, as detailed in the Sustainable Community Strategy.
The Barnsley Central Investment Plan Group is responsible for producing, managing and delivering the Barnsley Central Investment Plan and consists of a Strategic Group and a Technical Group.

Key Outputs
- Updated and delivered Investment Plan
- Reports to One Barnsley Board.
Frequency of Meetings
The BCIP Strategic Group meets bi-monthly and be directly accountable to the One Barnsley Board. It is be supported by a Technical Sub-group which will monitor the progress of programmes in the Investment Plan. This group will meet on a bi-monthly or more frequent basis as required.
