The Research Network was established to ensure effective co-ordination of the Council’s research and information capabilities. In recognising the value of working in partnership this group naturally expanded to include other agencies such as the PCT. Existing work includes Area Profiles, Barnsley In Depth, the Annual Review and supporting the development of commonly agreed and owned data sets for the Local Area Agreements. Paul Redgrave Chairs this Group with Cathy Read, Consultant in Public Health as its Vice Chair. Elizabeth Lee, BMBC Central Research Team, provides officer support to the Chair and Network with additional support from Debbie Platt, Neighbourhood Research Officer, One Barnsley.
