Partnership Performance Clinic
Role/Description
The Partnership Performance Clinic was established to challenge performance to ensure the delivery of priorities and targets within Barnsley´s Local Area Agreement (LAA), contributing to the achievement of the vision and ambitions for the Borough, as expressed within the Sustainable Community Strategy
In order to do this its remit includes:
Ensuring effective partner commitment, engagement and delivery of the LAA - Oversee and co-ordinate the performance management arrangements for the delivery of the LAA, with an emphasis on ‘designated’ and ‘non-designated’ targets.
- Reporting to the One Barnsley Board on progress in delivering the LAA on an exception/risk basis
- Co-ordinating the annual review and refresh of the LAA
- Evaluating the recommended use of Area Based Grant (ABG), and other resources, in supporting the effective delivery of the LAA

- CAA self-assessments- in collaboration with the Comprehensive Area Assessment Consultation Forum
Frequency of Meetings
6 Weekly - the meetings focus on facilitating improvement in areas of concern within Barnsley´s Local Area Agreement. The format consists of key officer(s), who are responsible for overseeing the delivery of a target, supported by the Delivery Partnership Chair and/or Coordinator, attending for a specific item and time slot.
This is complemented by periodic monitoring reports outlining overall progress against the LAA and National Indicator Set
