Increase choice in social care services to support people to
live independently.
Provide more support for people with long term care needs.
Provide better prevention services with earlier
interventions.
Provide access to community based services.
Work with the voluntary and community sector to expand
their role in providing social care.
Maintain an appropriately skilled and trained social care
workforce.
Provide opportunities through the new Local Involvement
Network (LINk) so that you can influence decisions about
the services we
commission.
