We will:
- Increase choice in social care services to support people to live independently.
- Provide more support for people with long term care needs.
- Provide better prevention services with earlier interventions.
- Provide access to community based services.
- Work with the voluntary and community sector to expand their role in providing social care.
- Maintain an appropriately skilled and trained social care workforce.
- Provide opportunities through the new Local Involvement Network (LINk) so that you can influence decisions about the services we commission.
One Barnsley's delivery partnerships ensure that our ambitions are delivered. Much of this ambition will bedelivered by the Adults and Communities Wellbeing Partnership.
The issue groups ' Fit for the Future' and ' Equalities Diversity and Inclusion Partnership' continue to exist as issues groups who support the Adults and Communities Wellbeing Partnership.
