Barnsley has a high performing integrated transport system

We will:

• Improve links regionally and nationally to provide access to and from supply chains and customers to support economic growth.
• Improve transport access to jobs, services and amenities.
• Reduce congestion with specific road improvements, park and ride initiatives and by encouraging alternative forms of transport.
• Encourage walking and cycling, through work and school travel plans.
